Our vision of Joseph Kosednar, an experienced electronic design engineer with over five decades in the field. Born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, Joseph combined his expertise in electronics with a newfound passion for jewelry-making to develop innovative tools that address the unique challenges faced by jewelers. He saw an opportunity to enhance the tools jewelers use, particularly flex shaft foot pedals, which led him to design THE ARMADILLO, a precision speed controller that provides superior control and safety for rotary tools. With five patents to his name, Joseph brings his extensive engineering background into every product he creates, ensuring that each tool is built with the highest standards of performance and quality.

What began as a personal project to improve his own jewelry-making experience quickly grew into a business that now serves jewelers across the country. We are grounded in a passion for innovation and craftsmanship, and their products reflect this commitment.
